So I was coming back from Glamis and was going up the Whitewater grade when I went to pass another truck, I floored it in third and the just started bucking and cutting out. I thought maybe I got a load of bad fuel, but I am not sure.. Anyone else have these kind if issues? Truck and trailer are in my signature picture.

That will work well.

Can't replicate problem.

It is almost certainly electrical.

Loose wire from the alternator maybe? Like the No. 10?
That is a pretty steep grade, and if something was able to "lean" a little?

There might be a pending code stored in the ECU. A filthy air filter could cause that stuttering, but it's probably not that.

I am going to check for codes tonight, and no dirty air filter here!!

Are you using a Bully Dog? ... I think you could be running that truck PIG Rich with that banks. If go up to Pasadena or you come down to SD I could run Cipher and we can see what its doing.

Have you been able to re-produce the problem?
What did you use to check codes?....There might be a pending code to identify which cyl was dropping...

Do you have a BD?....can you use it to check fuel pressure?

Sorry a lot of questions, but this sort of what I do...
