thanks my dad also has a 68 chevy c-10 short wide with an ls2 its the same color blue and black just flip flopped more black than blue
My father restored old cars and I learned to drive in his 56 four door Belair. I loved the location for the gas cap.

hahah very rarely. to go get the wheels and tires balanced and when we go to car show and we have to take a bunch of cars lol this thing is a beast

ya i always help on his builds i used to work for him and do tons of resto's but yes i did i assembled the whole rolling frame and suspension, helped put the motor in dynomated the whole interior, helped with minor stereo stuff, and did a lot of parts and lunch running lol

That's great! Spend all the time you can with him.

As I said in my earlier post my father restored cars. His philosophy was a little different. He restored them as near as possible to original. He owned and restored a 21 Ford T, 29 Ford A, 38 Chrysler, 49 Studebaker Champ, and 56 Belair. He's gone now. He and I spent many hours in his garage (a huge 30' by 60' garage). The time we spent together working on cars were some of the best times of my life. I wish I realized how special the time we spent together was.
