I've seen others have this problem but have never gotten a concrete solution... so my ABS traction control slip and brake lights are on sometimes check engine but not always, the 4WD light will come on and the center display will disappear... my speedo will stop working and the tach will go nuts sometimes all the gauges pulse up and down the a/c will stop working... all these symptoms come and go sometimes they come all at once, sometimes not at all. When these lights aren't on the truck runs/shifts fine but sometimes when they are on it shifts hard or not at all... I'm guessing that it's a computer issue but hoping it isn't because I'm broke and the T is my only transport currently... any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.

Yea man, they are all over, exhaust, engine just like the ones you mentioned. Keep in mind adequate bonding is more than a continuity check, so if any of those grounds is hanging on by a thread or two, they really aren't doing much of anything at all for grounding. Thats where I would check, after that idunno. I'd do a thorough search in the top right of just about any Titan Talk forum page for similar issues. Your truck is up there in age so electrical grimlins shouldn't come as a shock. From what I've been told, these trucks are extremely sensative in the electrics department.

Most are located under or near the battery tray. You may also want check out the large connector located underneath the passenger side floorboard, as they are not in the most ideal location.
Over the last 15 years or so vehicles have been equipped with controller area network (CAN or CANBUS) systems. They rely very heavily on resistance values (ohms) to do their job correctly. Bad grounds, weak or corroded wiring, faulty connections etc "can" cause you some serious headaches.

When you say under the floor board, are you talking about the one behind the wheel well under the plastic guard? I was climbing all around under there today...

Yup. Get it apart very carefully if you suspect an issue there.
You may also find a ground or 2 under the dash.

Check your wiring behind the muffler near the exhaust as well. If your truck is that old the exhaust might be rusted through and causing issues there. On my 2008 the tail pipe broke off at that connection when I pulled the original catback out.
