I bought 2 brand new reso tips the other day for $25 each and ran them on my mufflers for about 3 days. Put on my dump pipes today and I can see the reso tips hanging down and I'm afraid I'm going to get busted with illegal exhaust because they can see that it doesn't go to the rear axle now. I love the tips but they have to go now and it's too late to take them back. $35 shipped on these with about 100 miles through them. These are the ones at advance auto.

They fit 1.75 to 2.5 inch pipe

Do these change the sound of your exhaust that much? And if so, how?
