I've used it!The dead pedal was invented as a place for the driver to brace his left leg during hard cornering. It's not a floor mat or carpet protector!
Wow your wisdom is overwhelming!Blackbeauty said::rofl: I would highly recommend you look into some aftermarket (or OEM) floormats, not a 1 1/2" x 3" dead pedal! How small are your feet? Seriously, a dead pedal is useless to keep your carpeting clean since it's the LAST place you put your foot after you're driving, AFTER you rub all the crap off the bottom of your shoes while getting in, starting, adjusting, etc.... Yeah! Been there seen that! But nothing in those sites work for a Titan!Blackbeauty said:Ok, dead pedals you want, dead pedals you get.....

All it takes is about 2 minutes and :google:
My exact thoughts !!!!! Thanks BB !!!!  :rofl:Blackbeauty said:Gee, you guys want one of us to come and do it for you? It's just a piece of metal you're bolting to your floor. It has to say "specifically for the Titan" on it? Geez..... It can't be very hard to mount any one of them. Plus they all pretty much look the same. A little ingenuity and personal inventiveness would go a long way to making it "your" mod, and not just something some guy came up with that you bought cuz he said so..... But, by all means, wait 3 or 4 more years for the aftermarket to feel that this truck is worth the depth of accessories as the Big 3 who've been around for 100 years. It could happen some day. Good luck to you.

You have a Titan? Or a large paved oval? :jester:ericgst said:I don't have a dead pedal in my track.
Mine has one already. I believe it was a standard feature in the '04-'07 Titans.ericgst said:Do any of the models come with one,
See above...ericgst said:or has anyone put one that fits well in their truck?
I was not aware of that, I have only seen a raised floorboard area with a ridiculously small rubber patch sewn into the carpet, which I don’t even have in my 08. If they were available in other year/model Titans I will try searching for an OEM one then.Blackbeauty said:...Mine has one already. I believe it was a standard feature in the '04-'07 Titans...
Well, THAT's the dead pedal. Maybe you can fab a plate to put over the top of that if it's not enough. Like ^^^^this guy did in the link. May not be as fashionable as one in the shape of a bare foot, but it will do what you want.ericgst said:I was not aware of that, I have only seen a raised floorboard area with a ridiculously small rubber patch sewn into the carpet, which I don’t even have in my 08.
