I know I ran across a thread on here where someone posted complete instructions on wiring up a brake controller on an 04 XE KC (that doesn't have the plug). I remember it specifically because the poster made a funny joke... something like how Nissan saved themselves 30 cents by not installing the plug for us in these models.

I can't find the thread again! lol. Anyone have it marked and can point me in the right direction?

so the wires i need are behind the drivers side kick panel? and the kick panel is that plastic piece on the bottom left, near my foot. right?

there's another thread that has the wire colors i need... i'll just look for those colored wires then behind that kick plate?
