Well I woke up REALLY early this morning..8:30 to be exact. And while getting ready to face the day, I headed off to McDonalds up the street. While sitting in line, the exhaust fumes from other family cars, the worker hauling morning trash to the dumbster, Police sirens in the background..I had a perfect view of the Mountains. So crisp. So clear. So I sat there thinking.."why the **** am I sitting here???"..as I......

Anywho, my moving plans have slightly changed. I'm staying in CO. After this contract job of mine, I may have a future position working with renewable energy here in CO..so from a money stand point, it'd be a waste of 4 grand to move to Miami, then move back!

So being I'm staying here.. you CO/WY guys want to meet up and hit some trails? I'm down for some trails near castle rock, or even boulder area again. And as the summer time nears..then hit the inner mountain trails (Which RckyMntTitan wants to do this summer, so he'll lead the way on that one!).

So I'm always free on Saturdays, if any of you guys ever wanna meet up. I'd go..but good rule of thumb, always have at least one truck with you incase you get stuck!!

Adam, I am about to get on my bike and ride left hand canyon and explore all those trails we could have taken a couple weeks ago and see how much higher we could have gone. I'll take pictures so you guys can see what the possibilities are. I'd tell you to come up and meet me but I am already in Boulder and hitting the trail in about 5 min. Plus, even though you drive your truck like an Indy car up the mountain, I'd leave you behind on my bike haha. I'll let you know how it goes! Enjoy your M'dons.

Yeah I havn't found anyone to really venture off with. I wouldn't mind going every weekend, but I'd rather go with someone..life in the mountains suck if you're alone and stuck!

Theres a few really good trails in the mountains though. A few that go past some old mining towns and in some amzing valleys. I am hoping this summer I can setup a Friday/Saturday/Sunday trip with a lot of the guys on this forum. an offroad/camping adventure.

I'd be down, and I'm sure my buddy here would be too. He's got an Armada tho. Might have to bring the wife and kid as well......

Well I just got back from boulder after a nice ride. My buddy and I went up to Left Hand Canyon and did some exploring. We are lucky we didn't keep going with the Titans a couple weeks ago. The trails at the top where we turned around closed in and were super tight. We all would have had branch scratches. My buddy and I did some pretty tough riding though. We got into some pretty crazy single tracks. It was up there with some of the most difficult stuff I have ridden. This was my buddy's second time riding a full size bike on a trail so we took it pretty slow. It was actually pretty funny to watch him ride. I didn't get any pictures of the really hard stuff but I got some others. These pictures and the video do not do the trail justice, everything is much steeper than it appears.

This was really steep and there was about a 1.5 foot drop right at the top you can't see.

This hill was full of loose rock that made it difficult.

These Jeeps were awesome. They crawled through that section that broke off to the left of the trail just before that big rock we encountered a couple weeks ago.

Aweomse photos/video! Yeah that trail looked like it ventured off into some pretty tough spots. Do you think a quad could make it up there fine? I'm looking at buying a 4x4 utlitiy quad with a 4'' lift and aftermarket wheels/tires. I really want to get into quading..cheaper than taking a new truck or a priceless memory (the Bronco) offroad to some extreme spots!

Your buddy has a nice bike it looks like too.

ADAM AND ALEX,
Since I had to bail in Boulder on the last trip I would definelty be up for another run. I have to say I am intrigued by the traildamage map showing a 4X4 trail out by Limon? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot over? Anyway. Clue me in if you put something together. Adam, glad to hear you don't have to go hangout with all of the two-wheel-drivers down south. Glad your staying..

A quad could have done some of the stuff. There is no way on the single track though. I am the one in the photos and the movie and both of the bikes are mine though. I bought the Honda about 3 years ago and bought the KTM last year. I love the KTM because it has more power then you can imagine but the Honda rides like a dream.

Oh I assumed that was your buddy LOL my bad.

Those KTMs are nice. I know a guy who owns one and swears up and down by them! I don't know much about bikes though.

Yeah my dad is a KTM guru to the extreme. He turned his Chevy Avalanche into a KTM Special Edition. It is actually pretty cool. He is an awesome rider so it is completely justifiable haha.
