hey guys, figured a way to mod the gauge cluster! not an easy job let me tell you for a while thought i almost messed up the cluster but the gods were with me. and also attaching pics of night shots of my custom leds with the headlight mod. tell me what you all think. i have 8k HID for headlights and 3K HID fog lights and i deleted the orange light for a blinker and replaced with white led blinkers. P.S. i can change the colors of the halos to about any color.

what did you do to the head light i want to do that
i just sent you a pm
Me too I want to know how you did the headlight. That thing is sick!
Awesome man, I need to do my dash so bad, I hate the amber.
^^^^ Interested in the Headlight mod you did.. looks sick man!
Seriously man get some gas. LOL
The more and more I see how the blue cluster lights up, the more I am thinking of switching from my Red LED plan to Blue... But I so wanna do my interior light scheme in Red... Darn you Blue LED cluster people!!! Awesome headlight mod too! I could see that done in Red as well, but will be stopped and harassed in a heartbeat in CA... of course, it'll only be used for off road purposes... ;)
Not to keen on the remaining yellow/orange lights for the shifter, can those be changed too??
if you want i can do the headlight mod for you for about $250, the kit that i found is about a $100 dollars and to get them on requires some drilling and custom work. The kit i have changes colors and the size is 80mm but they sell a one color kit that is 100mm that you can get in about any color.

Both my stock 06 headlights are crying and full of tears, so I may get some EBay specials and send them to have cleaned up and modded w/ red white and blue lighting... ;)
I hear changing the shifter back lights are a bit tricky-- but definitely should consider...
Personally, I like the orange/amber, but I have a different gauge faceplate.
where did you get the bulbs for the cluster??
I want my cluster done but I live in NY
As i posted on other threads i want to do this myself but dont know what LED's to purchase if you could help me out that would be awesome...
to change the leds out you need two different sizes of bulbs which need to be used in different parts of the truck. below is a list of where the seperate leds types with the part that needs to correspond to that led.

PLCC-2 1210 LED(square led)- gauge clusters, odometer, screen display for radio, and havent done it but maybe display for A/C

1206 SMD led(small rectangle)- this is needed for the buttons for radio, door controls, and for the A/C buttons(that part is really hard to do. there is two lights in the inside of the three buttons, one which looks like the small led which is easy to change but the second looks like a bulb that requires a resistor to be soldered on as well)
