Well i went digging thru online manuals for the titan and chevy and found this intresting bit of info, dunno if it will help anyone or not, but that is what this forum is about sharing info and not hiding it from others.. lets get to the bottom of this and start making pgm's again.. all thatshould be needed are a few POT's or potentiometers to vary the voltage from the gm tb to the nissan wireloom that way the ecu doesnt freak out. we used to work with these in a/c refrigeration but im sure someone out there is a electrician that knows more than i do..

90MM LS2 Throttle body will work with the following information

PIN ID LS2 90mm
A.) ACT2
B.) ACT1
C.) +5v TPS Reference – Common to both TPS’s
D.) TP1 Signal 0-5v
E.) Common Ground
F.) TP2 Signal 5-0v
Pin connector Part number: 88988106

Titan pin colors /functions

Terminal # wire color Item Condition Data DC Voltage
47 Y Sensor power supply [Ignition switch: ON] Approximately 5V
(Throttle position sensor)

50 B Throttle Position Sensor 1 [Ignition switch: ON] More than 0.36V
_ Engine: Stopped
_ Selector lever: D
_ Accelerator pedal: Fully released

[Ignition switch: ON] Less than 4.75V
_ Engine: Stopped
_ Selector lever: D
_ Accelerator pedal: Fully depressed

66 R Sensor Ground [Engine is running] Approximately 0V
(Throttle Position Sensor) _ Warm-up condition
_ Idle speed
69 W Throttle position sensor 2 [Ignition switch: ON] Less than 4.75V
_ Engine: Stopped
_ Selector lever: D
_ Accelerator pedal: Fully released

[Ignition switch: ON] More than 0.36V
Engine: Stopped
_ Selector lever: D
_ Accelerator pedal: Fully depressed

91 W/R Sensor power supply [Ignition switch: ON] Approximately 5V
(APP sensor 2)

some guys in a electronics forums asked me for reading with a Oscilloscope, Iddle to WOT scopes an a titan and a chevy vette.

Heck yea man! We'll get it figured out one way or the other!

Subscribing for some genius to figure this out so I can buy one:) Thanks TMNYMODS!

A guy that works for me is an electrical hackjob. Known him since we were little and he was always tinkering with random crap. I emailed him this thread and a few other PGM related ones to see what he thinks. I don't think he would take the project on, but he would be useful for insight. Another long time friend is a developer for espn fantasy sports and knows pretty much every friggin computer language. Maybe he could be of some assistance on the "getting it to talk japanese" part of the PGM. I'm sure everyone has their wheels turning and this is totally doable with the right people.

For the love of godddd would the PGM creators get on here and offer some insight... maybe point ''us'' in the right direction, preferably NOT the route Relentless has gone..?

How bout this, PGM 90mm make the ''wiring loom/driver/box/translator" and sell it. Then we can buy relentless' 90mm to 70mm adapter, and everyone can buy the Hitachi GM throttle body (part #12602800) that is around $150 bucks.

That way not one company/person has to make a complete 90mm kit, its more of piece it all together and it will work. Instead of a $1000 paperweight that works half the time.

whatever.... i'm talkin out my azz, not that any of the above i said makes sense, let alone will get thru to anyone lol....

how bout lets all agree that the 90mm LS2 TB for the titan is Phucked (aside from PGM owners).

I can understand being proud of what you've created, but keep it going it or get out of the way progress & let someone else take over. Your holding everybody up from being able to mod! Goodness Graciousness... LOL :)

Maybe Up/Rev told them to keep it to themselves & not to open up another can of worms??? ...or maybe their just too busy to be worried about it???

Who knows, but it doesn't make sense...

I search that hitachi tb punkkid posted on that forum, nothing comes up searching that part number

The wiring harness part number comes up. I'm sure GM parts dept would have it if someone were to call. IIRC the 350z guys who were going all out NA adapted the 90mm LS2 TB to there setup and little gains were made, plus they were running a Motec standalone and had a tuff time just getting it to run. But we're comparing a 5.6 to a 3.5, and the VQ35DE doesn't repsond all that well to NA mods.

I bet with a different intake manifold and still using the 75mm TB good gains would be made.

How many wires does the hemi tb have?

Damn how do you know this ^^^ milenko? And why the he11 hasnt this been produced yet this could be a great investment for uprev!

#21 ·
Cuz I read the 350z forums, and Jared@uprev (PUNKKIDD, user name on those forums) posted the above info.

The 350z and Titan atleast earlier 04,05-06 models IIRC share a similar ECU. Back in the day when UPREV was tuning titans, RBtitan was basically doing the E-tunes.

So, if anyone can make the this TB project happen (again) it would be RBtitan/original PGM designers. He is pretty much the grandfather of Titan Tuning.

And as far as being a good investment for UPREV, the titan is just a ''fill-in'' for when the 350z/G35, 370z/G37 and GTR aren't there.

Until the Titan comes with the new VK56VD (same engine in the M56 and new QX56) we have to stick with what we have for now.

has anybody been picking brains on this? does anybody have an digital Oscilloscope that can lend me for a day?

I have my Textronics Digital one I use for work if you can do it here in the DFW area.

thinking of putting a contest on youtube, "Hey Electronic Gurus! make this Work and and win $Xxxx Dollars", that will catch some attention for the electronic gurus.

I know there's go to be a "trick" to it somehow!

I was just having an offline discussion with some other members on here the other day about this. I am tired of waiting for someone else to figure this out. So I have ordered an LS7 TB, harness and variable power supply. I already have a good multi-meter. I don't think an oscilloscope is necessary as it is all variable, non-cycling or switching DC. Based on knowing what the the titan ECU is going to send and needs to see (voltages) along with knowing what the LS2/7 TB needs and will send, I am going to make it work. I agree with Toomny that resistance is the key to getting the voltages to match and if sensitivity is a problem, I will bring in inductance to absorb the spike and/or rate of voltage change.

All I can tell you all is...........The man is know on it!! Ben will figure this out!! When he does, then I'm going to have to start saving for one:)

#28 ·
what's the volts on Idle? and the volts on WOT on the oem TB?

#31 ·
what tool/apparatus can I use to get a volt reading from a 90mm tb? ( got a 90mm tb working on my t, just need to know the readings from the "translator box" to the TB

If it's on your truck, a multi-meter set on VDC. If it's off your truck, you will need a variable DC power supply and multimeter.

#37 ·
^^ its on the truck

better do it fast before it takes a chit, LOL

Brother Pat. I can test it out make sure it works. Just an idea. I would need to fix my transmission though.
