Besides the visual difference, operation should be the same. The idea of the small electrodes is supposed to be for decreased wear and plug life, but I change them at a 50k interval anyway...thoughts?

Found this an interesting plug design. Never seen anything like this before and thought I'd share. Oem plugs with 50k on a 2014 FFV

PR,

I'm not worried about it. I figured since I've had these plugs for a while,in preparation for the tune up I'm doing now, and dont want to spend the money on the exact oe replacement ones, they will be fine.

Besides, Ive done a few mods and tampered with a lot...don't think my FFV brain box cares what I do anymore...lol

Stick with NGK 4469 LFR5AIX-11, and you'll be good. That is factory heat range. All the parts houses carry them as well as most vendors online.

If you decide to get crafty and start getting 75-100hp (flywheel) over stock, id say switch to the NGK 6619 LFR6AIX-11. NGK heat ranges get colder as the number increases.
