I have a 2017 Titan S crew cab. I noticed right away that the instrumentation is pretty dim, at least in daylight conditions. The tach and speedo don't seem to ever get any brighter than the night time settings. And the center info center is do dim it's hard to read in daylight.

I know about the brightness adjustment on the dash. It doesn't appear to do anything in the daytime mode.

I compared mine to another Titan S at the dealer and they were identical. The salesman didn't think it was right, but didn't have any answers.

I have contacted Nissan USA, about a week ago, but haven't gotten any response.

Do you have yours windows tinted? Is it possible that you have a registration sticker or something on the dash that is obscuring the automatic light sensor?

I too have the same problem with my 2017 Titan Standard cab. After lots of talk with both Nissan and my local dealer I have been told that my 2017 Titan has a different "trim package" than the more expensive Titans that have "bright" instruments. I was then shown less expensive Titans that had "dim" instruments and more expensive Titans with "Bright" instruments. I was contacted by Nissan and advised the instruments in my Titan were working as designed and that there was nothing that could be done to make the instruments in my Titan as bright as the instruments in the more expensive Titans with the different "trim package". As this is a major safety hazard, the gear selection indicator/ tire pressure/outside temp/cruse control, are all on this instrument and I have already had an accident being unable to see what gear I was in. I have contacted my attorney and the matter is now in there hands.
