Can the dim orange overhead console light be changed color?

Yes, you can swap it out for an LED bulb and put any color in it that you want. I also took a drill and made the hole a touch bigger to allow more light out. Its called the "mood light" do a search on here and you will see. Center console needs to come down to replace it. Takes about 15 minutes to do it.

Is it the same bulb type as the dome lights? Door lights? Or is it completely different?

I have a few leftover from my ebay kit. If it's the same, I may swap it out this weekend.

Very nice, I have a simular set up with blue LEDs. minus the moods light which will be fixed soon! Also hoping to do some carbon fiber wrap on some interior pieces in the summer.

Got the LEDs from France today. Install took less than 10 min, even made the mood light whole a little bigger. Can't wait to drive at night to get the full effect!
