My dimmer switch hasn't worked in almost a year. It went out one night but it's never really bothered me until now for some reason. The cluster lights work fine, but I can not control the brightness. Also the a/c lights are out, the a/c controls work fine though.

I tried searching and didn't get much. The only things I can think of... 1) The dimmer switch is fried, try a new dimmer switch ($75). 2) A ground wire became disconnected somewhere. 3) A blown fuse.

Option 3 seems most likely, just based on the way they went out, kinda like a power outage.

Any suggestions?

My guess is you nailed it with #3.
Even if that isn't it, that is the place to start checking.

You're talking about the switch that dims the dash lights and not the headlights, correct?
That's how you can tell an old guy from a young guy.
A dimmer switch used to be to dim your headlights.
Today that switch is the bright light switch, while the dimmer is the dash. :D

Yep the dash lights!

I'll check the fuses when I get a chance and report back.
