Just got these off a forum member here. The driver side uniball is very easy to move around with just one finger. The passenger side uniball is very tight to move around with the whole hand. Is this normal? Should I be concerned with either side? Seller indicated it's been on his truck for maybe 5-10k miles. Didn't want to install them until I know this won't be an issue.

Also, anyone one know the torque specs for the spindle bolt and the pivot bolts? I think I read 90 ft lbs for the spindle bolt.

90 and 115 are right if IIRC, try spraying it with some teflon dry lube, see if that loosens it up a bit, but really we talking about about thousands of pounds on it. They will move fine with all that weight.

Thanks for the torque specs! From what I've read, LCA holds most of the weight while UCA holds very little weight. I also read that a stiff UCA uniball could make steering "jumpy", especially at higher speeds. I just don't know what's normal for uniballs. I know what a normal balljoint feels like brand new, and it feels in between my left and right uniballs. My DK passenger uniball feels really, really tight. Was hoping someone here with DK or PRG heimed UCA could share how tight a normal uniball feels like.

its supposed to be really tight. loose is (potentially) bad/worn out.

Ok good to know. Again, it is tighter than a brand new Moog balljoint for LCA. I suppose my driver side UCA uniball is too loose then. I can move it around effortlessly with one finger. But I felt no play in it. Unless someone else could share different observations, I guess I'll just install them and see what happens.

call DK. it won't hurt to ask them. My Heim steering had one joint super loose as well, it didn't make any noise though.
