Is your manual shifter not working? Sometimes it's a wire that got cut. Like mine did and I spliced a piece of wire together and it worked.

 

I already did that to fix it partially. At first it wasn't working at all, but I found a wire that was cut and soldered it back into the harness. But now my + shift doesn't work, it only shifts down. I figured the switch for shift up got blown, and I wanted to get at it to try to fix it, but I couldn't figure out how to get at the internals of the manual shifter part.

 

Darn so I guess no one's ever tried to fix this problem themselves before? I guess I'll try to test new ground then sometime later this summer once I have to some money to buy another column shifter incase I screw it up

I was wondering the same thing. Let someone borrow my truck and when it got returned the manual mode up and down toggle switch is not staying in the middle, need to know how to put it back together

 

Mine does not shift anymore either I tried to splice it but no luck those wires are so tiny
