DIY tranny change

Hi , so I have about 17,00 miles on my 05 titan , about 550 of those miles are towing a camper maybe 6000 pounds in weight , plus pulling a boat and utility trailer that are not heavy enough to be considered as "towed miles" anyhow , thinking about changing the tranny fluid and cleaning the pan since this is the 1st time , then skip that part next time. Sure this is kinda early but with all the gloom and doom out there regarding titans , it got me thinking
so is there a gasket for the tranny pan or the ol rtv trick?
is there a filter or screen to clean , replace?
I plan on using the factory tranny oil made from the blood of virgins
anything else I should know?
tips , tricks , comments?????
Oh , not to concerned about a full flush , so getting about half of the fluid replaced with fresh should calm me , unless you feel different

no reason at your mileage to remove the pan. Their is no filter, just remove the drain plug and refill, if you must. The manual says change fluid at 30,000 miles under your conditions. I'd wait, after all the fluid in their is from virgin blood. :paranoid:
