I know a guy who trades his vehicles in nearly as often, but he doesn't complain about them, he just wants something different.
My Grandma doesn't end up buying lemons, but she can turn any car into a lemon in about a year, and not by wrecking them either. She got a '98 Buick Lesabre a couple years ago, perfect condition, 60k miles. Everything looked like it was a taken care of, maybe 2yr old car. So far she broke the drivers side rear view mirror off, karate chopped the turn signal switch in half, the paint is peeling, it leaks oil, there are coffee stains on the seats, it has a broken motor mount, the transmission sometimes won't shift, and the drivers side visor is floppy. This is just 1 of her cars as an example. Nobody can destroy a car like Grandma.
