Is it me or do the Dodge and tundra sit pretty high? I have an 07 titan CC which I bought lifted with I'm sure is the 6" pro comp lift as I can tell from the white bodied shocks in the rear, all the red bushings and bump stops upfront and the big round style spacer up front.. anyways Friday I parked next to what seems like maybe an 2009-2011 dodge ram 1500 stock with the 20" wheels and we were almost equal. I maybe had an inch or two. Sunday I parked next to a tundra which also looked like about the same year as the Dodge and we were dead on same height! I'm pretty sure he had an in or so on me. Only thing is it looked like he had some type of small level kit. 2 or 3" max. What gives? Pretty sure my front end is sagging from the struts cause it has been lifted since new practically and still has the oem shocks lol. But imagine them trucks with a 6" lift. They'll sit high!

i feel like they do sit high... i have a 3" level on my 07 LE... my friend has a 2013 Ram 1500 and when i park next to him, his front is higher than mine... it makes me sad lol BUT!!! the front suspension on the ram is weak!! the control arms are really small, theyre not meant for off roading or anything like that, they cant handle the abuse... our trucks can ;)

Their front ends are also larger than the Titan's. You can really tell sitting in a RAM then a Titan. Park them nose to nose and you'll also be able to tell really easily.

I think they look like they sit taller but they're a lot thicker. When I park next to my moms 2010 Ram with a 2.5" level on mine and hers is stock, my hood just barely reaches over hers. But my front bumper has a good 4 inches of clearance over hers.

Hmmm, I always felt the Rams looked low slung. Once I leveled my Titan I looked down on them or at worst was close to the same.

my cousin put a 3" level on his 08 Silver-Raydo and to be honest... the truck looks lifted compared to mine with the 3" level!!! ive noticed the front of the new rams, the body itself is taller, my 04 ram wasnt like that.. but like Ermahgerd said, theres alot more ground clearance than those trucks at stock height even though they look bigger.. ive never parked next to a tundra to notice but im assuming its the same as the ram.. the new rams are garbage

Yeah and I mean I got a 6" lift on mine! You guys got leveling kits imagine how i feel haha Well technically about 5" as I've read since these PC sit a little lower. But still! Damn shame lol oh well I'm loving this truck. Can't wait to get the bilsteins and 4wd coils on her. She's got mad power. Already smoked a couple little Hondas and a lifted Silverado in it lol and she's stock beside the air box mod.

On the other hand I was sitting next to my friend's Sierra with a 3" suspension and 3" body lift on 33's. I was as tall as him with my leveling kit and 33's. He wasn't too thrilled about it.

That's what trips me out. You guys sound like you're pretty tall with just level kits. What are you guys measuring at the fenders?

The air box mod is when you modify the stock air box by cutting the circular tubing inside flush to the box. So instead of the air going in and bouncing of that wall or just towards the back corner of the intake it goes in naturally and "more" air I guess you can say gets taken in. Like a diy aftermarket intake. Here's a picture
if you look at yours it will still have the tube inside under the air filter

Thanks bro! Once it warms up I'm doing this! I no longer have a shop thanks to annoying neighbors (mostly my fault) so I have nowhere to work on it besides my driveway right now... how much power do u gain? Is it noticeable??? More than a cai?

You don't gain much. The issue isn't completely air flow direction or quantity, it's the filter. The filter can only let so much air through, even a K&N.

For instance, a K&N replacement OEM filter is rated at about 440 CFM of airflow while my AirAid CAI is rated at about 1400 CFM.

Not sure I noticed anything, maybe slightly top end with the butt dyno. But when I added an actual brand name intake on my silverado I lost alot of low end that I went back to stock. That's why I didn't buy an intake for this because I don't want the same thing to happen.

No one has fender measurements?!
