I keep seeing everyone recommending the Kenwood 7100, but I haven't seen any pictures. If you have an aftermarket in-dash navigation/dvd system will you post pictures here of it installed in your dash?

Yes. Try the Search option on the menu bar. Search for DNX7100 and search for Kenwood, etc.

I don't have any pictures, but I use a third party software on my Dell Axim x51v. It attaches with a vent clip and uses a blue tooth gps antenna which you can put anywhere in the cab.

I see 3 advantages to this:
1. I can use the Axim for other uses, such as internet in a hotel.
2. I can take the Axim out and hide it when the truck is parked.
3. (Most Important) I recently read an article saying that permanently installed nav units will DECREASE the overall resale value of your truck. The rationale is that by the time you sell the truck, the nav unit will be outdated and of no use to the new owner, so they'll demand a price reduction (don't shoot the messenger):gunz:

Clarion is sorta goofy, they do not assign a model number to this model, they simply call it "NICE", which is a acronym for something. The bezel is factory part I bought thru courtesy parts. There are several good threads both here and the armada site. Installation is not terribly difficult, just time consuming.

Would it take (The dealer says $3000.00) to re-fit an '04 this way: NAV with the touch screen, full iPod, & controls thru the steering wheel ?

Ok. Got my Clarion Nice and my 08 Nav Bezel. The 08 Bezel is smaller than 07 is a bit different in fit. I haven't actually tried to install it yet , but there will be no cutting of the radio faceplate. The Nav Bezel has the same fitment as the stock one which is a good thing. The down side is , the NICE appears to be a bit big for the 08 Bezel. Has anyone fit one into an 08 yet?There's not alot trimming room on the Bezel and I'm wondering how much room is in the Nice for alteration purposes...

Hey guys I have an 06 XE and I want to do the same thing with the Kenwood deck, however every place I looked online said the deck would not fit my truck. I see that someone has done it, but what all was used to install the deck.
