I've been reading about Tech's front firing ported box for a 10" sub RE. I was interested, but I wanted to get some feed back on those who actually own them.

How loud do they sound? Is it the type of box that you can hear slamming down the block?? I have friends with SUV's and they got sounds that you can hear loud and clear from down the block. I have never herd a Titan that had loud bass slamming coming out of the cab like a SUV. I really want my Titan to have that loud booming bass without losing my seat. Please give me some feed back.

Also,

Does have to be RE subs?? I like MTX subs better, RE subs are not made the same as they used too. Thanks.

To be honest with you bud, the FF re 10's will be the hardest hitting setup. But it seem's like you are going to have to have a custom box made and put your seat on top of it, something like that with some 15's or something. We just don't have the room an SUV has to slam. I don't think you will be happy with anything less that window shattering bass lol. which there is nothing wrong with that, we just don't have a lot of air space to make that happen...Also if you want a Upfireing sub box with 12'' mtx's for sale.

I'd like to get atleast 300 for everything. box and subs.

You could have the same setup in your titan that he had in his suv, and his system would still be louder. Suv's have more airspace than our trucks.

I have the dual ff ported box, i have never heard my trucks stereo from down the block, but yeah i'd imagine you'd hear me coming.

Get the right amp, HU, and his box and yes it will slam. My buddies and parents say they can hear me coming from several blocks away. I also get s*** from some friends at a gas station down town where I always get my drinks, (Mountain Dew:)) they say that they can hear me coming from inside the store before they see my truck. I believe Tech himself said you should be able to hit 147db give or take on a therm lab with a good set up.
