I have two shedding dogs is there any thing that you guys use to cover the seats while they are up? Is any thing made so that can keep the dogs in the in the rear, kind of like gates you see in SUVs and wagons?

Dogs love trucks!

I try not to put dogs in my rear. It's rather uncomfortable.

Seriously though. The leather seats seem pretty easy to clean. I had a 02 ram without leather and my BT left hair everywhere he went but liked to ride up front so he can look out. I bought some sponge like thing at Petsmart that was supposed to pick up the hair and it worked ok but not great.

Be careful of the seats with dogs-- my brother-in-law has a dog who used to ride in front of his truck until the dog lost its balance one day and tore the leather seat cover with its claws. Now the dog rides in back. Don't know how cloth seat covers hold up.

I have two Jack Russels and the leather seats help. I also use a "seat belt harness" that I bought at a pet store to keep them from scratching the tint. The harnesses seem to keep the dogs in one general area and help in the dog hair clean up. A cheap fix is a sheet you use just for the dogs. No matter what one ride in the truck and the hair will be there for ever.

I just keep mine in the back! I laid down some carpet and they have two dog beds back there so they are happy campers.

Go to www.cabelas.com and select Automotive/ATV then Automotive Pet Accessories. The have a couple of different seat covers for vehicles that look like they would work in the back seat of a Titan CC. Also, how big are your dogs? I can put a 400 series travel kennel in the back of my Titan CC with the seats folded up. I just move the passenger seat forward and then slide it in from the passenger side. Once it is in I can then move the passenger seat back to a normal riding position. II put a chunk of 2x6 under the kennel to make it level.

I may just go with a Camper like you.

I have a GSD right now and were about to adopt another. My current GSD likes to stick his head out the window while the truck is moving so I'm not sure how he will like being in the bed with a camper.

I installed seat covers to protect the seats. This first time took quite awhile to make it tight and secure. No more than two minutes from completing the task our Aussie puppy jumped into the back seat and proceeded to wipe her nasty stinky a** from one end to the other, poop everywhere. Her name is Kady but we started calling her "LT"...no not Lawrence Taylor, although she has been known to sack a few children and her technique (speed, power, and hitting low would be the envy of any NFL defense). LT stands for "little terrorist". We're working hard on the tackling problem!

Here's my squirt...

She's an almost 6yr old female chiuaua (sp?) black and tan apple head, weighs just over 4lbs. She's full blooded, but is the runt which stunted her growth, she's the size of a miniature chiuauaua (sp?)...

Pic was Wed. night before x-mas on hour 20 hour trek of 525 miles (ice/snow slowed us wwwaaayyyy down). Prob. the best pic I have of here, she's in the Titan's front pass. seat with a blanket on her, just on the other side of the flip down console...

I have a 85-89 pound Weimeraner that rides in my CC Titan all the time. It's almost as if Nissan designed this truck as a dog friendly truck. I flip the seats up, put down his dog beds and cover them with a blanket or sheet. The window goes all the way down, he's got the back window open if he wants too, and he can clip into the child restraint seat anchor points very easily.

I have rigged up a system to secure him that consists of a bike lock cables (2) and mountain climbing type clips that attach to his harness or collar. You can cover the flipped up seats with whatever you want.

We've just thrown terry towels over the seat when the Shelties are wet or muddy. One of them likes to sleep/ride on the floor, and the other loves to sit and just look out the window. The other dog is okay lying/sleeping/riding on the terry towel. I tried various combinations of seat up/down with the CC back seat, and the guys seem to like it best with the seats down.

To get the hair off, wet a rough terry washcloth, wring it out damp, and drag it across the seat. Works pretty good for the hair, but I wish there was a way to clean the cloth a little better...:ugh:

German1987, beautiful dog. The German Short Haired Pointer is a great dog. It's alot like a Weimer.
The big stick is an axe handle. It resides behind the seat now, not under it. Comes in handy sometimes when you don't wanna take out the Ruger 9mm or Buck knife. I have used it once (the axe handle) to "tap" a gator, a little one, that was catching some shade under my Frontier one summer. It carried over to the Titan and now we have one in the Xterra too.
