Hi everyone,

After years of searching and waiting I finally decided to purchase my very first 2005 Titan Crew Cab 4x4. I just purchased it this week so I am totally new to this. The guy that had it before me did not have any attention to detail and I have been taking care of little issues here and there trying to get my truck where I would like it to be.

Next issue on my list is the fact that the center dome light does not work. This happens to also be the ONLY light inside the truck, so at night, it can be a bit of an issue.

It was clear to me there had been a DVD unit installed on the headliner prior to me purchasing it and it is gone now and the dome light was replaced. I first checked the fuse then the bulb. When I found both to be in good shape I took the dome light down and found the problem. The wires had been stripped off and the little clip that should be at the end of the wires to plug into the dome light fixture is gone. I have been searching online to no avail.

Can anyone help me find a replacement or solution of some kind? I might be able to solder the wires right to the thing but I'd rather avoid that route if I can.

Thanks so much in advance.

I would highly doubt you will find the plug only by itself. Nissan like to sell the whole harness.

If you can take the light fixture to an auto parts store and match it up to something that would fit or you'll just have to solder.

Thanks. I was thinking about going the soldering route but I also found a way to make my own adapter for the wires. I finally got a conductivity tester and found that there is no power going to those wires at all. I had first checked the fuse and saw it was good. Upon further inspection, there does not seem to be anything behind that fuse. It's a mystery to me right now. I will eventually take down the headliner and ispect the entire harness.
