Let me start by saying that my first Titan, an 04, was bought back as a lemon by Nissan. Everyone though my truck gray, the color of the loaner I drove....

I bought an 06 to replace it. KC, 4x4, Off-road, big tow. It has been great no problems at all.

Today I hopped in the truck and the door would not shut! The door catcher bolt broke in the pillar and the arm buckled. After yanking on it I was able to shut to door.

My dealer took it right in lent me a Maxima and fixed it in a few hours. They also got Nissan to pay for it under warranty.

Anyone else have this happen?

Probably not too common a problem but I'm glad Nissan took care of it for you. I'd think they'd have to since that holds the seat belt! That's one reason I'll never own a truck whos B pillar moves like that. I'm affraid of strength issues...however unfounded those fears may be.
