nope the are not available yet
Dang, that wasn't what I wanted to hear.

Thanks though.
make sure you post up if you find a kit. I bought my 08 in june and have be waiting since. I had a 06 model and to my surprise I could not switch my stereo, nissan got me
I sent an email to Scosche asking just this question, and here is the reply. Looks like people in the LOC business are going to be busy for a while.

" This probably won’t be happening anytime soon seeing as how the A/C-Heating controls and functions are all tied in with the radio. This makes it almost impossible to keep a functioning cooling/heating system if you remove the factory stereo. I don’t believe the 2008 Titan will use the NN03B/NN03RB will be used seeing as the 08 Maxima, Altima, Sentra and others changed their harnesses "
Yah thats bad news for sure!!! Here is just one more nail in the coffin for aftermarket audio... its the manufactures fault!

Scosche is full of it. They never make anything. All they do is copy what metra makes. . They said the same thing about Taurus years ago.

Metra will have a kit in the next 3 months and it will expensive. I would guess 100 dollars retail minimum. They are already working on one.
I talked to my shop and I'm just going to stick with the stock system for now and use line-outs for my two amps and an ipod interface cable.

My system will consist of:

Stock HU
30 gig Ipod

Amps:
Alpine MRP-F450
Alpine MRP-M450

Door speakers:
Infinity Reference 6.5" components

Sub:
12" Treo TSI

Enclosure:
Tech12volt single 12" sealed

Misc:
Valentine One radar detector
Garmin Nuvi 360 GPS

Should be a decent cost effective set-up.

HAHA I remember that kit...

Yah I'm sure its just a matter of time that they will all make it. But it sucks if they wont have it out for a while. And the prices are starting to get crazy for this stuff. Bring back the good old days... well not back to radios with posts so you had to cut your dash but no more of this intergrated crap!

^ months ago theres was no way to integrate the high end chrysler system or the high end Toyota Jbl system without bypassing the amps if you had an aftermarket Headunit. Now peripheral and others have an interface that allow you to keep the amps with an aftermarket head.
So the stock head unit is integrated with the climate controls? So if I wanted to do just a temp hack job on the 08 and cut my own double din and glass it, I wouldn't be able to use the climate controls? Well this sucks. I guess I do have to wait for a Metra kit after all.

OT: LandShark, Can you post pics of where you mounted your Valentine One?
I have to wait 3 months?! i'm beginning to regret getting the '08! Is the double din dash kit different from a dash kit for a regular aftermarket cd player? idk if I can wait that long

Do they have ANYTHING out for the '08 yet?? I was told they don't even make a lift kit yet??(2wd)

Yeah welcome to the club, when I got my 04 I had to wait over 5 months for the wiring harness. It shouldn't be that hard just give it a little time. You don't have your truck on sound domain do you?
cardomain? i have my frontier on there that i traded in for the titan.I didn't put the titan on there yet.
Oh ok, there is some blonde girl on there with a titan, wasn't sure if you were the same or not. Congrats on the truck, off to moroso to go get some runs in!
Yep, this blows.

Welcome to Titan Talk.

Do you have the regular 1 disc player, the 6 disc, or the Rockford Fosgate package?

Give it a couple months stuff will come out quicker than it did back in 04 when the Titan was brand new. Right now things only need to be tweaked for the 08's.

I'm not sure about the lift. I dont think anything changed on the suspension but PRG is the guy to ask about that.
All the lifts still work on the '08s. All the intakes do. All the exhausts will, but it would be dumb to do that since the stock ones would give you more power. the only things that are different are the gauges, the grills, and the audio/video stuff. And the old TBS won't work since the '07-'08 got bigger (read: more powerful) intakes.
well I hope they make it soon I am going crazy listening to the stock radio. I have been patiantly waiting since june, so I am month #4 now. Worst part is I had a 06 titan before this one so I have everything ready to go in the truck. I pulled all my old stuff out of the 06 and had plans to bring the 08 home and install the stereo that day. kenwood head unit, jl zr mids and tweets, jl 500x5 amp, 2 jl 10w3 v2 subs, and my own custom built box.
Why don't you just install all of the other stuff and buy a $20 LOC until the kit is made and then throw your Kenwood in there?
