Finally received the doug thorley headers from the ebay listing by steve, they were stamped 10/20/09 when they were finished. They are really good quality and great looking. Can't wait to get them installed next week.

Now, do a good visual inspection of each exhaust port to ensure there is no obstruction.
Now, get those bad boys on.

You are going to really like them.
Look at my times then my mods. Those times aren't too bad considering I was running that day close to 6000 pounds. That reminds me, I need to get the truck weighed.

The only thing I ran into on mine was the bolts at the collector connecting to the b-pipe.

From the picture you can see the bolts which came with the headers where not threaded down far enough. I had to pick up new bolts and nutz.

2x Exhaust metal gaskets (part #14036-7S001)

4x Manifold to collector stud bolts (part #14064-JG30B)

2x Exhaust collector o-ring gaskets (part #20691-30P00)

All for $59.52 shipped.


Here are pics of all the parts and a pic of the new doug thorley collector bolts compared to the factory studs.

Also the doug thorley studs put into the collector.

Funny thing is, I have header gaskets, studs, nutz, metal o-ring gaskets in my tool box. Don't ask cause I wont be telling why I have extras.

I am in the same boat, just sitting on mine also from the group buy. Not sure when i am going to install mine.

I bought flange gaskets for collector to B pipe in addition to the O-rings. Are the flange gaskets needed?

I just received the headers and the collector bolts look fine to me. Same as your pic.

von made me some B-pipes with custom bend pipe with MF cats & flanges and I have JBA cat-back. I think I am getting pretty close to set once I get the gasket situation straight.

I have the metal Nissan OEM head to exhaust manifold gaskets.

I have the header collector to B Pipe metal O-rings.

Questions:

Do you use a metal flange gasket between the collector flange and the B-Pipe flange?

Do you use a metal flange gasket between the aft end of the B-Pipe and the JBA cat-back flange?

Your going to need the metal gaskets before and after the b-pipes. You dont need the metal O-ring.
