I have a few questons about the service manual that you can download.

1) How long does it take to download the manual useing a cable modem?
2) Can you burn it to CD after you download it?
3) Is it the full version or is it a "abbreviated" version?
4) Do you like it? Is it worth the money?
5) What is the web address to download it?

Took me about 30 minutes on a cable modem. There are 48 files and you have to do each one individually.

If you have a CD burner, you can. The files are all PDF (Adobe Acrobat). Once they are on your PC, what you do with them is your choice.

Well, not having seen a 'real paper' version, I would have to assume that this is the same thing.

I was able to find out where some of the wires I needed to tap into were routed. I guess it was worth $20.00

There are about forty individual files, consisting of a few thousand pages with many sections containing over 500 pages. Manual is about 92MB, quite large for downloading over a 52k modem.
Excellent resource.

There is also a manual for the navigation system.

It is a great deal for $20.00. They have it listed for $210 on a CD. I guess they forgot about the "Save a copy" button in Acrobat or something.

Maybe I am not in the right area or something but all I see offered is the manual on CD for $210. I don't see a download for $20 :eeeek:
You do a one day online subscription for $20 and then you do a search for all publications for the Titan. That will give you the option to do an online view of the service manual. Then you have to view it with Acrobat, and individually save each section of the manual, as summarized in the Quick Reference Index. When you get done, you will have these files:

ACC.pdf
ACS.pdf
AP.pdf
AT.pdf
AV.pdf
BCS.pdf

You simply CANNOT beat Nissan's $20 option... I downloaded the service manual for the Titan, which cannot just be DOWNLOADED, but you have to choose to view it online and in Acrobat Reader save a copy of each section to your local disk. I also, within the same day, downloaded the service manual for my girlfriend's 2002 Altima and my friend's 2003 Murano. :)

I used version 6, loaded the table of contents and selected each chapter from there. After each was downloaded, I went back to the TOC and just selected the nex tone. The TOC is linked to all the chapters which makes it real easy to download the chapters.

Couldn't find where to sign up for the $20/day and view the manual online. Thinks they took it off?

Once you sign in with your free registration, then look under the select catalogue and pick online subscriptions. The one day is still there.

is it legal to sell these manuals online?
No it is not.

Also, advertising that it is available here will get you banned for a month.
