I have a 2008 Titan 4x4 with 159.5" WB. The center bearing support is worn and wobbling at 40-45 mph. I need to replace it but can't find one that has the larger I.D. bearing for my truck. Apparently the 4x4 has a larger bearing that a 2 Wheel Drive. The drive shaft is fine so I don't want to buy The Whole thing if I can get a good used or a new one. HELP

i had to go to the dealer for mine. i'm 2wd longbed and all the local auto parts store all came up with the same part # which the ID was too small. when i went to the dealer they ordered what they thought was the correct bearing but when it showed up it also had the smaller ID. So they ordered the optional bearing which was in fact the correct one when it arrived. go figure!

The problem is the dealer says that Nissan does not make the part for my truck. They told me and my repair guy that the only way they sell it is combined with the drive shaft. I can't spend $1,000 for this repair right now. It sucks that you can buy the bracket, rubber and bearing for the 2 wheel drive titan for under $100 and they don't have it for mine.

Consider dealing with a driveshaft shop in your area, one that rebuilds them etc. They can identify the correct parts. I had my mechanic shop do my u joints and they ran into similar issues. All fixed up right when they called the local driveshaft/axle shop.
