Yeah I have noticed a hole developing on my 04 as well.
Driver side cab door seal wear
I have worn a hole through the flimsy door seal that is attached to the cab. I wonder if they have made any improvements since 2004 to make it less able to be damaged by stepping on it when going in and our of the vehicle.

Mine has worn a great deal, along with my drivers seat upholstery. Not made all that well. Any part of them
