Hi all, I have a 2006 Nissan Titan King Cab that breaks every time I drive it, so I don't drive it much anymore except to go to the dump and tow my camper. I used to love Nissans, I have had three Maximas, a Pathfinder, and my wife drives a Quest, but this Titan is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned.

Anyway, I drove it to the dump last week and the doors worked fine. I just went down to hook my camper up, and the drivers side door woud not open, so I hopped into the passenger side to open the driver side from the inside, and it would not open from the inside either. How am I supposed to get the door open if neither handle works?

I know the people here are not Nissan, but here is one person who will never buy a Nissan again... ever. This truck has represented such a colossal failure of engineering, that I will never trust Nissan again.

Thank you for anyone who can help.

Sounds like your linkage is broken in the door. You may be able to get a locksmith to open it with a jimmy, but not sure. Once you get it open, plan to pull the door panel and fix the linkage or possibly replace the bear claw latch.

Hate to hear you've had such trouble with your Titan. Mine has been great. But I understand your sentiment. I won't own a dodge ram ever again after the 2006 I had. Total piece of crap. Never again.
