I've been cleaning my AEM dryflow filters with the AEM solution, It's expensive & only available online. Anobody using an alternative cleaner?

Or just take a vacuum hose to it and suck all the dirt out.

Ive been using a bit of dishwashing soap as per the advice of others on here. You could probably get by with water by itself.

simple green or 409. spray on from outside, let sit for 15mins, wash from inside out, let dry.

Found it, the filter is polyester, besides 70's liesure suits, what is made of polyester. Carpet, I used a couple oz.'s in a bucket , cleaned it just like I would with prescribed cleaner. Voila , worked great, I paid four $ for a gallon of this stuff[/.B]
