Ok so now that I have read this whole long a$$ thread I am now going to sell my Banks and run the bullet set up. I will put the stock pipes from the cat back on (which I think are 2.25"), to a 2.25" by 2.25" MF X pipe, to a 2.25" by 3" FM Y pipe to the bullet, then dump it like everyone else. I think I have that right. Right?

x-pipe for dual apps. y-pipe for sinlge. do the dump, it's cheaper and louder. if it's too loud then dump it over the rear axle. JakeInFla did the same as you. he had the dual inlets and went to a single with y-pipe. chat with him so he can give you some feedback on his setup.

It would save me $84 to not use the X pipe, screw it. No X pipe it is, just the Y.

landshark, run that 3" tailpipe over the rear axle and dump it. it'll help with the extreme. the farther your run that pipe, the quieter, but i would definitly start with over the rear axle dump first.

me too! :D

hey so what's everyone's opinion/experience performance wise?? i mentioned that i'm able to chirp off the line now for the 1st time ( = torque, correct?), but i just noticed over the past couple days that she pulls harder than normal up top ( = hp, right?)?? i wanna say around the 5-6k at WOT it pulls for much longer than what i'm used to... as in the needle literally stays in that neighborhood and just keeps pulling until it finally shifts. i'm not complaining or anything just wanting to confirm that i'm not imagining things is all :teeth:

My top is has definitely increased with the 2.50 inch pipes, but I also have JBA headers.

i definitly gain alil through the whole rpm. your shifting issue has nothing to do with the bullet. you probably been ridin her harder since you had the bullet installed, correct? but what the T is doin is just finding that sweet spot so it can shift to the proper gear. no worries.
