E locker question

How useful is the rear Elocker in real world conditions? I know it is very useful in hard core off road conditions, rock climbing, deep mud etc. How useful is it in snow? Does anyone find it useless? Has anyone kept from getting stuck because of it? Is there anyone that has it that regrets gettingit. Do you think the OR and Pro 4X packages are worth the extra cost and decreased fuel mileage (due to the gearing) vs just a plain 4x4? I am referring to the functional added off road value that the gear ratio, Rancho shocks, BFG Rugged Trail tires, E locker, skid plates etc. offer. Not considering the looks of the packages, stickers, guages, leather, rims etc.

I have the E-LOCKER and have never had to use it because I don't offroad with it. It can only be used in 4LO anyhow so quickly switching it on while moving isn't an option. I love knowing I have it, and it's a plus when selling.
Fuel mileage is stated as being the same ...maybe a mile or two difference. So if you're not going to be offroading, you could probably do without any of it. But....it's always nice to be able to! I wouldn't trade for a truck without it!
The TT is probably best for on-road use. Off roaders will do better with the locker though. The TT isn't a locker, it's simply an LSD. A true locker isn't a good idea on road because you'd tend to have your arse end come out on you while turning while excellerating.
