Haven't had one of these in a while it seems. I know Ebay headlights are generally frowned upon, and sometimes have issues, but I don't really have the money to have mine taken apart and modified.

So, the question:

Is anybody using these? Black Smoke for 2004 2015 Titan 04 07 Armada LED CCFL Projector Headlights Lamps | eBay

Are they crap? Do they work ok? Leaking within a week? I don't want to shell out the money and have them be junk. Would these projectors suck with HID's in them?

If these ones suck, link some that are better please.

Thanks for any and all answers!

I just installed the ebay Sinister Black ccfl halo's last weekend (and the billet grill). The 4 leds on the driver side headlight were bad on install. I did not really like the leds anyway- just going to disconnect the ones on the passenger side. No other issues yet. Per the instructions the lights are vented to allow air circulation to prevent condensation build up. There are little vented caps on the back to allow airflow thru the assembly. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

They look good on your black T. I'm not sure how they'll look on my white truck though. Sucks that they came with bad led's.

Like I've said before, headlights should be a SEALED environment. There should be no "vents" and if yours have them you should seal them and make sure the air inside is dry.

The only reason they give you those vents is so they don't have to do any warranty claims based on condensation from bad sealing.

Per the paperwork shipped with the lights they say that due changes in atmospheric pressure from place of manufacture (China), shipping and final destination they must be vented (or something to that affect?) I'll have to re-read the paper when I get home- I'll post a copy when I get a chance.

I put aftermarket head lights in every week. Save your money and spend a few extra hundred dollars on good one's. Because you don't want to go cheap. Trust me. Stay off eBay. I will put money on it. You shop eBay to save a few bucks. Your going to kick yourself in the ***.

When you buy the head lights covers you like. Spend the extra 10 bucks and clear silicone the back of the lamp cover. Take your time applying the silicone. It will save from moisture getting in. And don't waste your time with the LED lights. They blow easy. The little guys in the head lamps.

I have the Sinister Black ones too. And same billet grill as above. My passenger LEDs went out after a day but I did get a refund. Low beam Bulbs lasted a week before they both went out.
Yeah I think I read a post of yours somewhere about the refund. I contacted them hoping for a refund...they offered to send me replacement LED's, I countered with requesting they just replace the whole light assembly- they then offered to send replacement LED's and an HID upgrade kit for the low beams. Should have the parts next week. The HID kit is crap I'm sure but we'll give it a try. Definitely could use more light output than the stock bulbs have.

BubbzWasHere, There's a really nice set of retrofitted headlights posted in classifieds. Wouldn't hurt to send your best offer.
As already mentioned, stay away from those eBay headlights as they're poorly made and just becomes more problematic later on. The projectors on those headlights are equivalent to what you'll find from a $20-30 set of projector fog lights from Pep Boys, AutoZone, etc.
The only thing plug and play HIDs will do in those headlights is just emit a "whiter" light when compared to its halogen counterpart. No increase in actual output.
