the harness on 05 titan has 5 wires. brake controler only has 4?.. anyone know how to wire one up correctly? thanks!

tekonsha brand.has basic wiring diagram found in most controllers. dont know why truck harness has 5 wires. any way i wire it,it doesnt work.

Have you checked all fuse related to it? The Titan has a 40 Amp fusible link.

On the Titan harness I have this as the color.
Red/Green - Brake Sig.
Brown - Ground
Brown/white - Brake Out
Red/Blue - Illumination
Red - Fused B+

Does your brake controller have illumination?

it has the green/red light only.

This is what my harness look like, yours the same?
Looking online it seems you particular brake controller don't have an illumination wire so that's the extra wire on the harness.
If all else is connected correctly I would start looking at fuses.
