So my electronic locking tailgate actuator stopped locking remotely after only 6 months with my 2017. This is the factory option that came on my truck not some cheap aftermarket accessory. I will be taking it in for warranty repair during my next oil change which is in a few hundred more miles. Will let you know what the dealer says.

You've had a number of issues so far, haven't you?

I think the correct question that should be asked is what type of "QUALITY CONTROL" do they have down in Canton, MS where they are throwing these things together?

My issues thus far:
  • Faulty push button ignition switch (warranty fixed by dealer)
  • Hood alignment significantly off (warranty fixed by dealer body shop; turns out front fender was mounted wrong so they replaced)
  • Leaning 0.50" on my passenger side (some people have reported different spring rates installed which is unacceptable; just ask southernlion he had one spring on one side from an SV when he has a Pro4x. Mine has same springs so still further diagnosing lean)
  • Transmission software update TCM / ECM (dealer installed and now reverted back to original issues after learning process)
  • Faulty electronic tail gate (taking into dealer upon next oil change)
