All I have a 2004 SE 2wd that is lurching or kind of coughing when I hit the gas. Happens at 60 mph or above and when I ease off it just keeps going. I go to hit the pedal again and it will do it again. Just did tune up with new plugs and fuel inject service. All ignition coils checked out okay. Have one feedback that it could be an emission pump the other maybe a throttle body issue. Any feedback would be helpful. I hunt and fish in this truck and drive maybe 15k a year. It may just be time for a new one. Please advise with any thoughts. Thanks!

No issues with heavy acceleration from a stop or low speeds?

Sounds a lot like a dirty throttle body. They act just like that when they need cleaning. Has this one ever been done?

None at all. It's happened 3 times including today since late July. It's only when I've been at highway speeds and on cruise. I will go to give it gas and it feels lots going to stall but doesn't. I ease off and it's just keeps running.

Throttle body has never been done. My main mechanic thought that could be it as well. It's got 209k on it and I go to some BFE places to hunt and can't afford to break down. My guy said if it was the fuel pump it would just shut down. Thank you all.
