Hey guys and gals. New guy here. I have a 2005 Titan. Engine code B. Blown Engine. Bought a rollover wreck. It's a 2007 with engine code B. Am I going to have problems with computers or anything if I swap this engine. Thanks in advanced

2007 has VVT, 2005 doesn't. HP/TQ ratings went up with the 2007. That's about all I can tell you.

Good luck with the engine swap. (y)

I see you posted in another thread. The computer from the donor truck may be needed. Keep researching and you may find a definitive answer.

The harness for the donor truck is installed. My guy is swapping the ecu but don't the keys and switch need to be changed or can the dealer reprogram
Sorry, I've never done an engine swap in a Titan, so I can't help with those questions. Hopefully someone who has will respond in this thread.

You'll either need to get it programmed at the dealership of have NATS (immobilizer) disabled with an Uprev reflash

Ok guys. I'm at the dealer. He can't get the keys to register to the ecu. The truck rolls over but does not start. The engine, harness, ecu are from a 2007 going into a 2005. Am I spending money for nothing. He said something about communication to the BCM.
