hi,
common question / complaint about nissan titan making a sort of " tappet or lifter sound" at idle is one i had for a while. one dealership changed my injectors however that didnt help any. i then read from another member online that a dealership found wrist pins make that noise. like the shmuck i can be, i argued with 3 dealerships service departments and couldnt get any of them to replace or even inspect wrist pins unless i open my wallet. so the 4th dealership i went to had a service adviser who is an avid titan fan / owner that said it does not come from the engine. it is a purge valve that is attached to the body metal making the noise. he also said a kit (rubber bushing i believe with hardware ) was in teh process of being developed for this problem. it makes sense to me.
has anyone heard about this ? if so where can i find this kit? if i cant find it soon im just going to make one i think.

My 08 SE CC has about 4100 miles and I am hearing this same "knock" noise. Any info about the fix if any
i cant get ahold of the kit ( im told its a rubber bushing and some new bolts )
i just a swaybar bushing from work and flattened it out for a few days in a vice, and used that. noise is definitely gone.
