The standard shank that came with my equalizer only dropped the ball 3" so my flatbed car trailer was angled up a bit and my truck was completely level.
I now have the longest shank equalizer sells and it will drop a maximum of 9".
When my trailer is level the coupler is 16" and my hitch ball is at 17" with no load on it so I think it should be fine once I hook up the trailer, load the car, and put on the weight distribution bars.
Do I want my truck to be level or still higher in the back?
