I own a 2005 4x4 Titan. As we all know the truck has a set of primary cats and a set of secondary cats. My nissan service center sadly does not believe that the secondary cats are cats. They say "its just a hole through the pipe". Does anyone have an official Nissan drawing that clearly lists them as cats? I'd like to prove to them that they are completely wrong!

Thanks

I think 04-06 2wd have resonators which are just holes, but the 4x4's have two sets of cats so I suspect he's confused.... Or maybe it's me that's confused?

I know they do. But the impatient stubborn dealership employees will not look it up
Then you need to find a different dealership. If they are unwilling to find out that what you tell them is the truth by looking on the damned computer, what affirmation do you have that they will treat you fairly when they realize you are right? None. You are the customer and you are stupid, according to them. They know it all.

Find a dealership that will listen to you. Take a print of this thread if necessary.

Your 4x4 has secondary cats in the B-pipes. It IS a fact. 2WD only has a resonator. 4WD has a secondary cat.

I have replaced enough of them to friggin know... Dumbasses...

If the bpipes have round cans they are cats if they are oval they are resonators. Typically the 4wd has catted bpipes and the 2wd have resonators. The one on top is stock catted bpipe bottom Cajuns version
