This seems unreasonably high to me, but I am looking for another opinion. I took my 15 Titan into Midas to get a quote on a custom dual setup. What I have in mind is a Borla Pro XS DI/DO (part number 400493) with either dual pipes out the back or dual out the passenger side behind the tire with tips. I agreed to provide my own muffler and tips, and I was quoted around $450 for bends and welds. Does this seem reasonable? Even a muffler replacement, DI/SO with just enough pipe to fill the gaps runs about $150. Thanks

I paid $70 for a muffler swap. You'll find much cheaper rates at mom and pop type shops. That is a very high rate

Actually they are going to have to replace most of the piping from the cats back, and provide piping for a dual exhaust and weld it all together. A bolt on single exit catback exhaust runs upwards of $450, so yeah, I would say they are in the ballpark. Cajun catback single exhaust runs $475, without the muffler or clamps. The Borla is not just a simple swap into the OEM exhaust.
