I have an 08 Titan and put a Dyna-Flow 3.5 inch exhaust on my truck. My question is that since the exhaust install my truck sticks in 2nd gear on downshifting and some times I have to pump the gas pedal quick to get it to complete the downshift sooner. It will do it in its own but takes way to long. Is the pipe to big? I thought 250 to 350 HP could handle 3.5

This truck is totally different from the domestics. What works on a Ram or F150 does not work on this truck. If the wrong exhaust is put on this truck it will sound horrible and you will loose lowend torque. The Titan and Armada love a ypipe into 3" single tailpipe set up. True duals like what most guys think will increase flow and power on thier truck actually kill low end on the Titan. What your experiencing does not sound exhaust related to me. Have you done a drain and fill of tranny fluid? I was expiercing some delayed shifting in my 2005 and it was solved with a drain and fill using Nissan tranny fluid type S.

Thanks for the reply nightowl I have changed the Trans fluid and filter when I bought the truck with 100,000 miles on it I now have 147,000. I don't do a lot of off road except hunting season. The truck sounds great runs even better than before. There has to be a power increase because after the exhaust install I had to learn how to use the gas pedal all over again lol. I honestly don't think it's bad for the engine as it's not that often. I'm the one that bought Dormans manifolds and had the first set crack and since had the driver side crack and replaced. I replaced the front struts but still think there is another suspension issue up front but haven't had the time. Curious if the truck suspension is not right and the truck kind of pushes the front end if that might be my issue as it would hold the truck back going down hill does that sound crazy
