Unfortunately, it depends. On if you have the Banks exhaust or stock. I don't know what the actual sizes are, but I do know they are different. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

 

The inlet of the tip needs to match the size of the tailpipe where it exits the vehicle. outlet can be whatever you want, but don't go smaller than the inlet

As stated, your inlet of the tip has to match the end of your pipe on the truck. I found a Gibson Stainless tip on E-Bay, new in the box, and got it for $10, they retail around $50. Most people want two tips, I was lucky.--SC

Just an FYI my 2015 exhaust pipe diameter is 3" exactly

 

Recently had exhaust done on my 2004. So downstream after the CATS There is a joint where both exhaust header down pipes meet. (Y) At this point the pipes transitioned from 2.5" to 3" next stop muffler 3" in\out and then naked 3" tail pipes. I'm guessing they kept This setup through out the Gens. This is the exhaust tip I got 2.5"in to 4"out

but like I mentioned above I had my exhaust done 2.5" xcrossover 2 flowmaster 40series. But to answer your question stock exhaust tip is 3"
