What size piping should i do? i am going to do a dual exhaust with some new flowmaster mufflers but i don't know if i should use the stock piping or go bigger? Can anyone help? i guess i should add i have a 07 se.

It sounds like you have an 07 or 08. The stock piping is dual 2", and that is rated at 275 HP. For a 300 HP rating, combined with our cubic inch motor, 2.25" is ideal. To maximize exhaust scavenging, you should also put in an X pipe with a dual system.

No you shouldn't, unless you want to lose a lot of lowend torque.

I went with 3" pipe from the "Y" to a 40 series muffler and finished with 3" duels out to 4" tips...

Did the CAI, TBS and 2* advance to make up for lowend loss...Got the best of both worlds..

3" single after the Y is perfect, that is also rated at 300 HP where 2.5" single is rated at 275.. After the muffler doesn't matter in most cases.
