I have been there. I lived in Ignacio. There is a world class 4x4 trail between Silverton and durango. Beautiful country up there. We used to stay at a cabin right across from purgatory to go skiing. Gotta love the winters there too.

what a sexy color that is :)

so... any water inboard?
The color is called Sedona. I think it was only available the first year out... maybe the second too.
Water inboard... nahhhh, it was only a little creek. It only looks deep 'cause my front passenger tire dropped into a hole right there. It was running pretty good though.

I drug my travel trailer up there and we stayed in a campground just down from Purgatory on the Animas river. Your right.... beautiful country. I tried one of the 4x4 roads out the back side of Silverton but we came to some switchbacks and my mom got cold feet so we turned around at just shy of 11,000 feet.

Nice!! Got any more pics?
Sure! Pics of my truck in this area or just my truck in general? I've got some fairly decent ones.
Here's one a little south of Purgatory!
