i have to agree with u. like i said in another post and got nailed for it, companies are starting to loose their roots imo. with people wanting more power but better mpg is starting to make companies do odd things with their trucks like hybrid systems and TT gas motors. i find it all interesting and **** but at the same time nothing can really replace the grunt, feel, and history of a V8 in a truck.
you talk about throwing a car motor in a truck (i beleive in the attempt to diss the f150 lol) were as motor is a motor. the tune and programing is what determines what it goes in. the VK is in Infinity cars(dont know the model/s)...so does that mean we have a car motor as well? GM used the 5.7 in some of their cars as well as the 4.3...what about them.
i think the big deal with the eco tech is that they simply put it in the f150. which i believe is the first time that TT or single for that matter has gone in a truck (syclone doesnt count). not to mention able to run on 87 octane.
