I want to get rid of my banks monster exhaust. It has about 15-20K miles on it. I bought it for I believe $650. I don't know how much I could get for it now but if anyone is interested make me an offer. It includes all of the hardware except for the Banks Power sticker. The muffler and tip are still nice and shiny. I'm located in So Cal.

Why are you selling? Is it too loud for you?

You going back to stock? Any particular reason why you are selling it?

Yes it is:crybaby: When driving home from work after a 16hrs. day it really sucks. I think I'm developing migraines from it.

I'm going back to the flowmaster 40 series. it's just too loud, i do alot of long distance driving, it does a number on me and my passengers. before i installed the banks, i thought the flowmaster was loud. now the flowmaster to me sounds like a sock honda exhaust.

I might be willing to trade for my adjustable exhaust. You could make it as quiet or as loud as you want. Still flows amazing.

might be a dumb question, but would it fit my 07 crew cab
I'm sure it'll fit. I don't why it wouldn't.

dude, you are crazy! the banks isn't bad at all. i drove from san diego to santa cruz and back and it was not loud at all. wife didn't even say one word about it the whole trip. you want loud, then going 40 series will do it with the drone you'll get with it. i've had both and the drone in the 40 will give you headaches much like mine did. the banks gives me none! if loud is the problem all you need to do is remove the tip! the tip, believe it or not, makes all the difference in the world in how loud it is. take the tip off and drive with it and you'll see the decibel level is day and night with the tip on and the tip off.

"Exhaust tips actually do play a role in the final sound of an exhaust. Where mufflers and resonators take care of the good majority of exhaust pulse cancellation and silencing, the exhaust tip can shape the remaining pulses and accompanying sound as it makes its final exit from the pipe. Much in the same way a Tuba sounds different than a Trumpet, a short megaphone exhaust tip will sound completely different than a long pencil-shaped exhaust tip. Some exhaust tips even add a small resonator to the equation to help mellow the exiting exhaust note. A perforated tube surrounded by sound deadening material puts one last mellowing touch on the exhaust pulses before they reach your ears and the ears of others."

Really? I'm going to try that out.
