Does anyone happen to know the inner diameter of the factory lines from the auto trans to the radiator? Are they 8mm/ 5/16ths or something larger?

I'm adding a temp sensor and would like to pick up the right size fitting before I cut a factory line in half over the xmas break......

Alternatively, is there an easier way to add a temp sender?

Look for threads where guys are recommending that people use transmission rubber lines, not fuel lines. There may be a size specified in those threads, but I don't recall there being any discussion over different sizes.

Thanks mate, that thread is here and confirms a 5/16th hose size (or 8mm for us simple metric people)
