My Pro4X came with factory steps and LED lights under the steps. The lights are pretty cool. But the dealer wants me to pay $1000 to keep them. I am torn. I live the ease of the step to get in and out of the truck, but these steps seem to hang pretty low and they make the truck look lower to the ground. Maybe the N-Fab are a better option.

What do you guys think?

That's true. If it's not written in the contract, ignore them.

After all, that's what a dealership would do to you.

SO you bought(papers signed)the truck and they want to add to the price for steps that are already on the truck after the sale ....I would just laugh at them . LOL

Yeah, unless you drove home without a signed deal, they’re asking for something they’re not entitled to.

In fact, there ought to have been a document that said something like “We Owe/You Owe”. If that document doesn’t say you owe them the steps, they’re a part of the vehicle you bought. Any effort on their part to wrest them away from you is a breech of contract, as they had a good faith obligation to explicitly omit the steps from the deal and notify you they wouldn’t be included for the price you agreed on.
