i still havent seen any time slips that state a s/c titan is running into the 13's so I'd go with who has physical hardcore evidence... VIDEO

Got my vote:cheers:
Cause i hear so much about the stillen supercharger but i havent seen people with time slips, are they embarassed to post them cause they are running slower than the guys with uprev and bolt ons? i would just like to know what $8000.00 worth of supercharger will get you at the track? i personally am a turbo guy but i am just curious to see what they can do at the track and wonder at what rpm the blower stops making power? and i am in no way bashing the supercharged guys or stillen just want to know what these guys are running?
No offense taken, at least not by me. I haven't been able to make it to the track since the install of my blower. The truck has been down long and often.

After spending so much money on the truck, I don't want to spend money on slicks. Without slicks, the truck will never hook up.

Hopefully a s/c truck owner will buy some slicks and go to the track to see what the blower will do.
i think mark was closest to achieving this with the uprev tuned supercharger cause it didnt have the drive by wire limitations, and obviously didnt have a top speed limiter either.. With slicks that are 28-29" tall the speedo thinks your doing like 125-130mph by the end of the 1/4 mile so even if they did get TRACTION the top end would be severly limited by the dreaded top speed limiter..
For the track its been proven a well tuned titan on nitrous will be faster. That being due to the wot fix for starters. A supercharged truck will be a monster on the street though, and you dont have to refill bottles. I want to see Qship at the track with his upgraded trans though. Someone let him use your slicks!!! The tranny is the weak link with all this tq and thats why the 40mph holdback is intact.

Edit, forgot Qship your 4wd, i guess from more recent findings your probably getting wot by 16 mph or so unless the piggy back adjusted
I want to do a run in 4HI, but many people said I could damage the transfer case. I launch in 4 hi quite a bit around town to educate the uneducated. LOL!!!

My theory is of course just a theory, but if we could get the s/c trucks to stick and have the speed limiter removed, they will make great times on the track. Unfortunately, I tried and failed to remove the speed limiter with a Technosquare ecu.

I have been in talks with Uprev and they said they can do it even with the p-back in place. The things is I don't want to be the first s/c truck to try it.
For what it's worth, I saw a SC Titan dyno at 360 compared to my 302 at OT last time. it was the same dyno, same day and I dynoed twice to see if the dyno was consistent and it was. I would not even bother posting this as I have no love for anything but the blacktop dyno and a good DA calc to go along with it but for informational purposed it might be of some value to you. The 302 horses was put down with the mods in my sig and everyone was complaining about the dyno putting out low numbers. The different brand dynos all put out different numbers and if you really want to know anything you have to look at track times and DA calcs to go with the slip. The SC guys are putting out more power by far but hooking it up and not getting WOT from 0 would probably make it a very close race indeed.

It's too bad that UpRev has no proper tuning solution for you man, I be the truck is a beast now with the upgraded tranny.

UpRev can tune a Stillen SC Papa!!

They tuned Marks.....but his Tranny couldn't handle the power it created. He finally gave up.

It is! In 4 hi, the truck still goes slightly sideways!

I stand corrected, I always thought there were other issues besides the tranny but it has been a long time since I read those threads. Well there you go Q, UpRev it is, lol. I wonder if hat would void the warranty somehow on the SC. What do you think?

Mark didn't have the p-back.

Stillen doesn't carry a warranty anymore for their Titan s/c.

I might have to call Uprev about shiftpoints too. With the IPT VB and TQ converter, the rpm go to 6250. That's LA LA land for our trucks. That SRT8 Jeep may catch me if I do that in a race! To avoid that I shift it myself. When I don't shift it and I let the truck do it, I have to take my foot off the gas. I know IPT used stronger springs in the VB because of my s/c. That might be the culprit. Also the truck shifts at a higher rpm with the TQ converter. It's nice on the highway! It pulls like a diesel going uphills. The truck doesn't kickdown.

Yeah Stillen don't want you to touch it.

I think Mark also used different injectors or something like that.

No warranty eh. Well I guess it's time for UpRev to tune that bad boy if they are up to it but you may have to take your truck there to have it done right.
At this point, I want the speed limiter removed. The price I was quoted was too high to me.

No offense taken here either. From what I have seen the uprev guys are definitley faster. The thing is most of the superchargers I've seen installed have been on fully loaded trucks with mud terrains and six inches of lift-not really something you see at the track much. My 75lb. toyo mud terrains killed my rear wheel horse power. No way a truck with the added weight of heated leather seats, sunroof, tow package, 4x4, side air bags, and heavy tires, plus the loss of aerodynamics with six inches of lift is ever going to compete with guys like "toomnymods". Personally, if I had plans to race my truck I would have gotten a stripped down 2 wheel drive. Now, an uprev tune for the S/C, that sounds like the way to go.
